Helix Piercings

Helix piercings are located at the top of the ear cartilage. The helix is perforated using a small gauge needle (usually 1.2mm but this can vary). Popular jewellery choices are ball closure rings (BCRs) which wrap around over the top of the ear, and simple barbells with a ball or jewelled gem positioned at the front.
